After six years in the long grass, Australian producer Bioxeed returns with nothing less than a full length album, an hour of skilfully produced tracks out there to hit it hard.
“Elegant Madness” is dominated by a sinister atmosphere and evil acid sounds, and while it oscillates between darkcore, strong techno influences and the occasional broken beat even, it’s the razor-sharp tweaking acid lines serving as a leitmotif. Tracks that are more on the hardcore side of things (“A derangement of the mind”, “Balance”) alternate with more techno-electro based ones like “Inspired Creation”, the industrial beats in “You can not win VIP” are to be found as well as the crossbreed flavour of “Disrupting the laws of physics”.
Bioxeed creates an hour of elegantly mad, hypnotic and infectious music, never ceasing to amaze and keeping the listener’s attention. Deep, dark, and diverse, a successful comeback!
